Hello everyone –
Back on October 8th, all of us received an announcement from Karol saying she will no longer be coordinating future reunions of the Class of ‘68. Please join me in thanking Karol for her many years of service and for the great job she did in organizing the 50th reunion.
Peggy will stay involved and will continue to maintain the Facebook postings and the master list of email addresses. Thank you Peggy!
Karol and Peggy have asked me to spearhead
future events. While I am willing to lead the next reunion effort, I will need LOTS of help. Based on the enthusiasm generated by the 50th reunion, I am hoping that many classmates will be willing to assist me.
The first thing I need is for one or more persons to volunteer to work with me and Jerry Clark, our webmaster, to review the website and make
suggestions. This is a fun assignment that can be done easily in a few hours from the comfort of your home or office. If you are interested in helping me and Jerry, please contact me by November 2nd.
In early August 2019, I will host a REUNION PLANNING PARTY. It will be held once again at Princess Lanes in Whitehall and will be open to all members of the Class of ’68 and their guests. A complimentary buffet meal will be served and there will be a no-host bar.
There will also be free bowling for those who are willing and able.
Sometime during the event, the members of the Class of ’68 will be asked to complete a very short questionnaire about the next reunion. The questionnaire will have 4-6 easy questions and there will be space for comments. It will also be available online to classmates who cannot attend.
If you would like to volunteer to help with the REUNION PLANNING PARTY,
please let me know. Your assistance and your suggestions are most welcome.
I will be back in touch in early February 2019 with more information on the REUNION PLANNING PARTY. In the meantime, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
